Fav Disney Websites

Remember to double check what you read. Just because it's on the internet doesn't make it true. :) And information can quickly become out of date. (I.e.: Disney no longer allows families in the front of the monorail.)

Billed as the largest unofficial Disney site on the internet, DISboards.com has a wealth of information,  incredibly active forums, and thousands of people who can help you plan your trip or answer your question. It's like crack. I can't stop reading the trip reports of other DISers. (But don't say crack in your posts b/c drug references aren't allowed.)

Lots of great info including a calendar that tells you what crowds should be like can be found here: www.undercovertourist.com.

More great info: www.easywdw.com and allears.net.

The Qs have advice about what to do while waiting in line, as well as several other Disney posts.

Lonely Planet has links to awesome blogs with articles about Disney. And some advice that's a bit different from the other Disney-lover sites out there.

A new one from a Disney Travel Agent: http://mousecoachjenn.wordpress.com/

Really fun to read:

I found Zzub on DISboards when I was planning my last trip. Now he and 3 other wonderful writers have their own site: mousereports.com. Talk about addictive! I feel like I know these families b/c I vicariously share WDW with them.

The Never Ending Voyage explains the magic in a couple of beautifully written posts with great photos.

You can plan and read the fun blog, Touring plans. I especially like the fashion advice.

A fellow mommy blogger who lives in Celebration, FL posts here: http://onthegoinmco.com/.

Official sites:

You can see park hours, Extra Magic Hours (avoid the park w/ EMH), attraction closings, forums and much, much more: disneyworld.disney.go.com

Some in our family also plan to visit Universal. www.universalorlando.com
